Nicole Coughlin, 

CIO at Town of Cary



Nicole Raimundo Coughlin is an award-winning technology executive who serves as the chief information officer for Cary, North Carolina. She is the principal strategist and architect for information technology and digital marketing across the organization. Coughlin is at the forefront of the smart cities movement, creating a connected community through piloting and implementing IoT technologies in the public sector.  A self-described government rebel, Coughlin participates in numerous conferences and summits as a keynote speaker and panelist. Her work has been profiled in numerous case studies as she continuously pursues new models of digital transformation for collaborative citizen-facing projects. By fostering partnerships both locally and nationally, she leverages her private-sector background to fuel civic innovation in ways not previously seen in local government Prior to her work in government, years in various IT leadership positions in the private sector, leading development teams in the U.S. and internationally. Coughlin is currently serving a two year appointment to the Department of Commerce  Internet of Things (IoT)Advisory Board


Britt Sylvester,

Director of Digital Transformation at Brady Services



Brittany (Britt) Sylvester leads IT operations and strategy for the Brady enterprise. Blending a supportive leadership style with a focus on aligning technology to achieve business goals, she has a passion for results and puts an emphasis on the people factor. Prior to Britt’s current role, she began her career in IT 10 years ago with USA Today, streamlining business processes and supporting end users, before moving into project management. Outside of the office, Britt enjoys tennis, golf, and all things music.


Lauren Auchter, Senior Software Engineer and Educator at Instructure

Lauren Auchter started her career in edtech as an educator at science museums and transitioned to the engineering side with the help of Thinkful's Engineering Flex program. She continues having a positive impact on education as a Senior Engineer and technical lead at Instructure creating accessible applications. When she's not coding you can find Lauren chasing her toddler or surrounded by her latest crafting endeavor.


Heather Dunn, Director of IT at Syneos Health

Heather Dunn has spent her IT career building a breadth of experience leading software deployment teams and programs across multiple industries. Her expertise and depth reside in leadership and program management where she has spent the last 6 years reporting to VPs and CXOs leading strategic technology initiatives. Heather is currently IT Director of Enterprise Systems at Syneos Health where she is enabling a large scale ERP program.


Suzanne Fulghum

Moderator

Suzanne Fulghum has been a leader in technology for more than 20 years in fields such as consulting, healthcare and SaaS.  Leveraging experience with Accenture, BCBSNC, SAS, Align Technology and Marsh McClennan Agency, she is passionate about delivering value through innovative products that make a difference in peoples lives, and are easy to use.  Suzanne enjoys leading teams and encouraging them to live their best lives at work and home.
