Nick Otto serves as the CIO for Kimley-Horn, focused on IT Strategy & Leadership, Service Delivery, Application Development & Support, Information Security, and day-to-day IT Operations. Nick serves on the board of directors for the Triangle Technology Executives Council. Prior to joining Kimley-Horn, held senior leadership positions at SAS with responsibility for Global Hosting & Cloud Services, Information Security, and IT Audit & Compliance groups; Red Hat in both the IT Infrastructure and IT Enterprise Systems divisions and Circuit City Stores overseeing IT Infrastructure, Data Centers, Networking and Store Technology groups. Nick’s IT journey started in the grocery IT sector supporting UNIX systems, POS terminals, and networks. Along the way working at a tech startup, consulting for the Virginia Dept of Transportation, and assisting several non-profits in making technology decisions. Nick is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. |

Jeff Jancula is former software developer, serial entrepreneur, and currently Chief Information Security Officer for OpenNMS, an open-source network monitoring system. Highlights from Jeff’s career: Created software for uranium mining, health insurance, CPA, and manufacturing companies, Created a word processor (long before Microsoft Word took over the world) and sold it to Digital Equipment Corp., Designed and installed miles of network cabling at dozens of manufacturing plants, Developed and taught Computer Forensics masters course at UNC-Charlotte, Created Wells Fargo’s ethical hacking security test team and CISO for six years at First Citizens Bank, Raleigh. |
