AITP-RTP Meeting – Understand your entire environment: Observability in complex infrastructures

Summary:

Hybrid cloud and digital transformation has been driving complexity in IT environments, especially since the pandemic, which creates challenges for traditional monitoring. Many IT teams are forced to limit focus to critical resources or risk getting swamped in the volume of data and alerts generated by their systems. This is where observability can be a critical tool for both development and operations teams. Observability tackles complex monitoring problems in three ways: 1) situational awareness of the current and changing state of your environment, 2) analyzing events to find answers to problems, and 3) allowing teams to collaborate and take action faster. This session will cover the differences between observability and monitoring, best practices for implementing observability, and the role of AI in observability and analytics.

Registration ended at 5pm on Sept 12 as communicated.
