Join us for an interactive presentation about work in the post-pandemic area. COVID accelerated the digital transformation imperative and changed the way we work. The future of work is now, how are organizations moving forward? What does that mean for me?

About Our Speakers:

Chris Bartosik earned his BA from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Chris is passionately focused on customer centricity and employee empowerment. He uses his background in fine arts to creatively navigate an otherwise linear corporate world and successfully moved through the levels from individual contributor to executive leader. A highly motivated, multi-dimensional thinker who uses past learnings to elevate organizations but also considers new approaches and disruptors with the ability and desire to have an impact on the future. Early career development included software development, web design, and multimedia that evolved to leading technology and business initiatives for organizations ranging from start-up to Fortune 100 companies. Strengths include bridging the divide between business and IT, PCI and HIPAA compliance, design and architecting product launches, vendor management, cost containment & budget management, risk mitigation and staff development.

Key Accomplishments:

• Multimillion dollar savings realization through technology automation.

• Implemented global services delivery capability across multiple industries through strategic partnerships in response to market shifts, rapid company growth and increased scale.

• Leader of initial product launches in the industry verticals of healthcare, education, insurance and technology start-ups.

• Successful design and implementation of several enterprise-wide Software Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, Quality Assurance, Project Delivery frameworks.

Kim Donica earned her MBA with an Information Technology focus from Georgia State University after completing her BA from Emory University. Kim has worked in information technology for over 20 years, starting her career in management consulting at Accenture and KPMG. From there, she moved to MetLife where her roles progressed from business systems analyst to Vice President, earning her a reputation for delivery excellence and business enablement. Kim was recruited for roles where organizational change and transformation were required for the 150-year-old, Fortune 50 corporation.

Delivering business growth and innovation by transforming teams and harnessing the power of technology is her mission. Key accomplishments include:

1. Led software quality transformation via a culture and operating model change to enable improved time-to-market for business growth and acceleration. Revamped the team for Agile / DevOps, supported by process consistency, an improved staffing model, and a productized, open-source tool stack.

2. Deploying the first standard global accounting and financial reporting platform is over 12 non-US entities

3. Establishing a production application service management team for all corporate functions and customer-facing distribution channels

Active member of Women in Technology (WIT) Network and Athena of the Triangle initiatives. Kim recently spoke at a PMI-sponsored event for Women’s History Month.
